Peer Advisory Group Board Meetings
Members meet regularly to discuss their front of mind issues related to their businesses and to do a check-in with the group. All meeting conversations are fully confidential, allowing members to candidly share their business concerns and receive helpful advice and insights from their peers.
Through the ELO Peer Advisory Groups, members collaborate to work through their business issues and concerns, gaining helpful advice and insights from one another. Conversations have dealt with strategies around innovation, partnership challenges, team and culture building, and dealing with mental health issues and strategies.
Members can present a “Business Review” or an "Opportunity/Issue Review” presentation. The Business Review allows a member to share more about their business and to leverage the Group's collective expertise in focusing in on 2-3 of the key issues/opportunities presented. There is also the option to present an Opportunity Review which provides minimal company background and focuses on a single opportunity (i.e. acquisition, new marketing initiative, etc.).
Meetings are held at the offices of different Members on a rotating basis, and Members can get a tour of the offices/premises. In recent years, we have visited an engineering firm, a software development company, a global landmark hotel, and a major Canadian courier hub.
