Jeff McHugh, has had an extensive business career and, in addition, teaches leadership and innovation at the Crowell School of Business, Biola University, Los Angeles, CA. His business experience includes 35 years at Beckman Coulter, a Fortune 500 medical device manufacturer; human resources; manufacturing; finance; marketing; sales; and general management. Over the final fifteen years of his career at Beckman, McHugh was the Vice President West Zone Commercial Operations, Vice President National Accounts, Vice President Americas Commercial Operations, and Vice President Chemistry-Automation Division. One of his major achievements at National Accounts, Vice President Americas Commercial Operations, and Vice President Chemistry-Automation Division. One of his major achievements at Beckman was the implementation of an innovative new product development process which accelerated the launch of new products and created a new culture of innovation. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Stanford University, a master's degree from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in finance and marketing, completed the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a doctorate degree in education in organizational change and leadership from the University of Southern California. Jeff taught marketing and innovation at the Pepperdine School of Business for six years before coming to Biola. McHugh currently teaches leadership, innovation, career management, and strategic management at the Crowell School of Business. McHugh also delivers leadership development programs for UC Irvine's Continuing Education program. His corporate clients include Edwards Life Sciences, Houzz, The Irvine Company, St. Joseph Healthcare, and Econolite.
