About the Presenter
Paul Verhoeff is a seasoned entrepreneur with a history of founding and leading successful ventures, primarily within the travel, construction, and hospitality sectors. He is a Principal at Verhoeff Group of Companies (VGC), which has founded, established, acquired, and invested in several businesses, including Advance Flooring, now Orange Room Services. Other businesses include Trading Post Brewing, Valley Commons Winery, Avalanche Waste Management, CanWest Flooring, Porta Pal, and Stoneboat Winery.
In 2015, with son Lance at the helm, VGC developed Trading Post Brewing Corporation, a craft brewery and eateries in the Langley area. Trading Post has been successful in brewing award winning craft beer, and features “our beer and our food” at its historical Fort Langley and new Abbotsford eateries.
His dedication to investing in the lives of others extends beyond business to his philanthropic endeavours within the church, non-profit, and educational spheres. He has lent his leadership acumen to various boards and played pivotal roles in establishing new churches and academic institutions, including Trinity Christian School in Calgary.
Paul is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and social impact. He has served for several years on the Board for Opportunity International Canada, which provides microfinance, training, and support to entrepreneurs in developing countries.
